What it is, and who it suits
Your service bookings can sit inside your client portal, so signed-in clients book, reschedule or cancel there. Everything follows your service settings: hours, staff, deposits and cancellation rules. It suits cleaners, salons and clinics with regulars who already use the portal for courses, files or a community.
Turn on Appointments in the portal
Go to Client Apps > Client Portal > Settings > App Permissions and switch on Appointments.

Go to CRM > Calendars > Services > Booking pages, open the booking page clients should use and add Client Portal.

Test all three
Sign in to the portal as a test client (your own email), book a time, move it and cancel it. Check each one shows in CRM > Calendars > Calendar View and that the right emails went out.
